Good mountain. Traffic/parking can be a nightmare. No cozy seating inside all plastic seats. Bunny hill is a joke, just go down easy street if you are a beginner. Bring food or pay $20 a meal minimum.

Great place to ski. Fresh, clean snow. Friendly staff! One of my skis broke and would not lock in. Ski patrol helped me down for free from the top. She stayed calm, kind, and professional. The views are amazing. I felt safe the whole time. I will ski here again.

This is one of my favorite ski resorts in the United States. I love the friendly staff, the beauty of the runs, and the very convenient parking. Free parking is a big plus. The views are stunning, and the snow is consistently excellent—well-groomed and very pleasant to ski on. The downside is the price—it’s quite high, even for a half-day pass. Also, some lifts start closing around 3:40 pm, even though it’s officially stated that everything operates until 4:00 pm. Another issue is the lift speed: the lifts are fairly slow, which takes away a significant amount of actual skiing time. I really think it’s time for the resort to upgrade the lifts or increase their speed. This is especially important on runs intended for more experienced skiers, where there are only blue and black trails. On those lifts, the ride to the top takes a long time, you actually get cold while riding up, and it noticeably reduces the amount of time you can spend skiing. Many other ski resorts across the United States have already installed modern, faster lifts, cutting ride times nearly in half. Overall, I will definitely keep coming back. I’ve already visited several times. Another major advantage is how close it is to the city—only about a 30-minute scenic mountain drive.

I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. It wasn't originally on our itinerary until a local recommended it. This was my first time driving in light snow and all though there are steep drops and lots of turns the road felt safe. The grounds themselves (early season) were very well maintained with only rock and dirt showing on blacks. Signage was good, clearly marking terrain type and staff on hand to advise and provide guidance at intersections. There are lots of different terrains (nice powder blues, mogule blues, skate through green flats and a big terrain park). The store was equipped with proper gear and the facility clean. I went on a busy day and there were some challenges with avoiding people, however, (since this is my first visit to this park and I was getting acclimated), moving to the upper mountain may resolve this. I'd return to this park.

I had a blast! The staff were friendly and the ski area was great. We booked ski lessons and I paid for a 2nd day of Lift tickets. We never even got to experience the lift because our instructor did not show us how and on the 2nd day, just as we were getting ready to get on the lift, they closed it down! Fun fact: All lifts close one hour prior to closing time. Bummer for us Texans who had to return home the following day. Overall, still a good time.
