1. Acceptance of Terms
PuttMaps is operated by Maro Digital LLC (“PuttMaps,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using puttmaps.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PuttMaps is a directory of mini golf courses in the United States. Basic listings are free. Course owners may optionally purchase a Featured Listing subscription to enhance their listing’s placement and content.
3. Course Claims
Course listings are claimed by invitation from PuttMaps or by contacting us directly. When you claim a listing, you represent that you are the business owner or are authorized to act on their behalf. We do not independently verify ownership at the time of claim and rely on this representation. If we later receive credible evidence that a claim was made without authorization, we will revoke the claim, refund the most recent payment, and may permanently prohibit the claimant from using the Service.
4. Featured Listing Subscription
Featured Listings are billed monthly at $9.99 per course and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods. Pricing may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email.
5. Your Content
When you upload photos, descriptions, hours, or other content through your claimed listing, you grant PuttMaps a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You represent that you own or have permission to submit the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
6. Accuracy and Removal
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse any listing or content that we believe is inaccurate, misleading, abusive, or in violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service; (b) claim a listing you are not authorized to manage; (c) submit false reviews or impersonate another person or business; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; or (e) use the Service to violate any law.
8. Third-Party Content
Some listing information is sourced from third parties, including Google Places and public business data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of this information and are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that a Featured Listing will result in any particular number of visitors, leads, or sales.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PuttMaps’ total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PuttMaps and Maro Digital LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting paid subscribers will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
