CAM-PLEX Park

There for the New Years Eve Bucking Ball! Great fun had by all. Good drinks, shitty seats! Hahahaha. We had bought tickets early with a contestant and companion pass but ended up getting there at 6:30 instead of earlier. There were too many people there for the amount of seating they had available (wherr you could actually see above the banners). It would've been nice to have had assigned seats for this event. Esspecially with all the drinking going on. They had so many people who didnt want to share the bench in front of them. Overall, the event was fun to watch, maybe next year, maybe not.

I love this park especially in the spring and winter!

This Festival of Lights was sponsored by Campbell County Wyoming as well as small businesses. It was spectacular

Went here for the 2024 Gillette, Wyoming Camporee. I forgot my sweater so I was there freezing in this picture. It was a great experience except the people who hated the fact that we went to their state for the Camporee. I'm sure the businesses loved us based on how much money they made, with 60,000 people showing up making purchases. We were hit with heavy winds, and our tents blew over. We had to run for hard shelter. That was scary and exciting at the same time.

Gorgeous little arboretum/park connected to the Camplex park. Beware the short cacti growing in the lush green grass though! There is a great variety of trees, some labeled, scattered throughout this park. A local squirrel population is quite entertaining. There is a frisbee golf course, picnic tables and benches scattered around, and a playground for kids with a fountain next to the building. **If** this place is open during the 2024 International Pathfinder Camporee this would make a really nice place for morning or evening walk/devotion.
