Buffalo Thunder Resort Casino

Enjoyed our stay and amenities that Buffalo Thunder offered. Only downside was the lack of working WiFi during our 3 day stay. Hotel check in service was not as great as it could have been little to no direction from staff on where we could find our rooms, thankfully we ran into a maintenance man who showed us the correct elevators. Iguana Cafe was a great choice for our complementary breakfast, helpful and friendly staff was an added perk there.

It was kinda run down, wallpaper coming off the walls. The website said there were 9 for options. The chair in our room needed to be replaced. They made you walk through the casino, instead of taking the escalator. I understand that, they wanted you gamble more. My girlfriend couldn't stand the dinner. My burger was actually cooked the way I wanted. The people were nice, we did have a balcony. It definitely needs to be upgraded.

a really relaxing, friendly place to stop. we stopped on our drive across the country with our two dogs and everyone who worked at this hotel was so, so nice. I WISH I could remember the name of the lady who checked me in because she was above and beyond -- helpful and sweet. I loved the grounds and the dog play area. Huge pool area, though it was a bit chilly to swim while we were there.

Really nice property. We went mid August and it was nice and quiet at the pool area. It's so nice to have the hot tubs near the main pool,which was on the cooler side. You can access the indoor pool and hot tub from outside or through the gym. Adjacent is locker rooms and restrooms with showers, which was a nice bonus. I didn't get to explore inside the hotel much, but discovered a microwave at the Starbucks counter. This was a good find, since the rooms are not equipped with one. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated.

Property is amazing and insanely large. BRING YOUR WALKING SHOES because this place is just as big as a Vegas hotel/casino. The property is beautiful inside with amazing statues and high ceilings with nice landscaping. The casino is large at over 1k machines but our stay wasn't paying a dime unfortunately (just not lucky). The pool is phenomenal with their being 2 options of large pools and 2 options of hot tubs with 1 pool and 1 hot tub being indoors and very nice. I have 2 complaints about my stay. First and most important was the air conditioner didn't work at all see it at 66 and it never dropped below 78 in our room till we opened the balcony. The whole building felt extremely muggy and hot like the air conditioner couldn't keep up. Our room was blowing lukwarm air the entire time. Last complaint is while the property is massive there isn't many options to enter from different parking lots to get to your room you have to always walk a mile to get back to your room which was slightly an inconvenience.
