While this remains a unique spot for families, the constant turnover and lack of direction make it difficult to navigate. The business seems to be suffering from a lack of cohesive management; it feels as though someone is experimenting with various concepts without a solid master plan. The layout itself is a confusing labyrinth. Upon entering, you’re caught between an arcade to the left and bingo in the back, while the path to the Salty Mermaid forces you to lead your children directly through a bar. This lack of flow makes the environment feel disorganized rather than family-friendly. Regarding the food, the seafood boil is a highlight, but the rest of the menu is hit-or-miss. We were served broccoli with black, oxidized edges, which was disappointing. Furthermore, the service was unprofessional—while we had a large group, our waitress resorted to yelling across the table at us like a teacher trying to discipline a classroom. With a 'Wok N Roll,' a Dickeys, and the Salty Mermaid all competing for space, the venue lacks a clear identity. We keep hoping the pieces will finally come together, but for now, the lack of consistency means we only visit sparingly.
1st time here. Very impressed! Food was delicious, waitress was excellent, (she checked on us often). We will be back and recommend if ur look for some good seafood.
We had a pretty good experience, my son, and I. We only went to the arcade area, and the workers were very friendly. It was a little bit smaller than I thought it would be from the outside. However, we did not eat at the restaurant, nor did we go to the bingo hall. It is worth visiting again and we look forward to going as a family in the future.
Reallllly nice place!!!! Get the card for the arcade games, go to the casino if you're of age, and definitely check out the restaurants!!! I just love the guitars on the ceiling of the coffee shop!!! Great people and food!!!! Can't wait to test those drinks. Go if you have a chance...worth it!!!!
Friendly staff, the arcade was closed but with covid, what isn't now day? Lol They have really cool work on the walls. And the chicken was good (didn't realize it was a chicken place, but that's okay!)
