Visiting the park this month for our um-tenth time over the years and was pleasantly surprised with the menu changes. Food is great and a big variety to choose from. Staff is always great and so nice to us during our stay. Would always recommend anyone to come for a visit.

Very nice State Park. Lodge is beautiful and well kept bathrooms were clean. Restaurant is great with a lot of food options in a buffet. Plenty of Outdoor Adventures for both adults and children. Highly recommended.

Campsites are a bit closer together. Playground is center of all sites which is great for parents/ grandparents to keep an eye on the kids while they play. Bathrooms could use a bit of cleaning but showers are hot. All in all great place to camp

The park is lovely! The lodge is great! They do have some problems with their AC and many had rooms that were too warm. The dining experience was not great. We were the only ones staying there but they struggled to take our orders and get us served. 15 people. They took away the sandwich menu after the first day and just offered a Buffett. Lots of salty casseroles and salty bean soup. Not a great menu for seniors. The salad bar was just ok. Too many heavily sauced salads like potato and chicken salad. And only fried fish as a separate meat. All other meat was hidden in casseroles. They need to improve their menu and offer healthier alternatives. Simple baked chicken, veggies that are not starches and a lot less salt! Put salt on the table and we can season our own! And also, their email to review their facility didn’t work so couldn’t give them feedback.

Such a unique gem with so many facets to discover. Natural wonder, historic and prehistoric treasures to discover and appreciate. Wonderfully kind staff ready to make your visit an experience. Don't skip over this one. Jeff makes the museum come alive with stories and demonstrations.
