A beautiful state park. Just be careful of the roads. For some reason, Kentucky won't build proper roads. There are ONE lane roads for both directions, with blind turns, without bump-outs for miles. There are no shoulders with big drop offs. I couldn't imagine this in the summer tourist season or during winter with any precipitation. A good adrenaline dump getting to the breathtaking views.

The park its self isn't huge, but it has great camping, amazing views! The park does have a days work of amazing hikes! But the easy access to so much hiking around the area is what makes this place so amazing!

It is a beautiful place that has been well kept. The views are stunning from the overlooks of the mountains to hiking around the pond and taking pics of the ducks. Love this place!

I went at Christmas time ,the park was beautifully decorated.. You drive up a two lane narrow road to get to the top ,but the breathtaking views are definitely worth it !!

This is a very beautiful park with lots of overlooks. The trails are very pretty and intersect at certain spots. The most memorable thing for me, was the cave amphitheater. The best trail for that, is to start from the lake trail, to the laurel trail and take the ivy trail back to the lake trail. I would definitely come again if I have more time! The trails are moderately difficult but nothing too bad!! Bring lots of water.
