Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site

Very nice park with rich history! Would be a perfect place to have a birthday party or family reunion..multiple shelters, a HUGE sheltered fireplace with benches and grills around it, a very nice "party shelter" with clean restrooms, one full and 2 half court basketball courts, multiple horshoe pits. Park was extremely clean as a whole, especially for being "out of season".

Beautiful setting in the Barbourville, KY, area....with a putt-putt course! We (The Blue Crawdads) played to a mellow & appreciative crowd of our loyal "Mojo Rangers," the Park Rangers (no relation) & a few passersby as a fundraiser for the aforementioned miniature golf course. [Photos are in the pavilion located near the road] A peaceful setting in the Kentucky Hills. Stop by to see 'em, imwhen you can!

It was fantastic! We were there for the dawn lands larp and the grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The kids love playing on the new playground although to my surprise they were actually most interested in the older slides and playground equipment

A good walk through history. Replica log cabin from the Daniel Boone days. Putt-putt golf, gift shop,pop and snacks when the gift shop is open. Nice well kept park. A hidden gem. Great for family and church gatherings.

Nice park for family gatherings and enjoy playing simple games and look at history in this small well kept park.While there you should buy some souvenirs in the gift shop to support the park.
