We came only for dinner at the lounge. Friendly service staff, attentive, fair drink prices. The chicken wings were good, loved the onion rings, chicken cordon bleu was a tasty. The area is gorgeous, the lodge is old timey in a good way. I’m looking forward to returning in the spring for fishing and dining.

Beautiful grounds, clean rooms, friendly service. Lounge was closed at 9pm on a Saturday night, seems a little early for a hotel at full capacity. Security was a little intense, questioned before entering property every time, not the friendliest crew, but the Hotel staff was awesome. Be careful where you park, family member had a shattered windshield from golf ball.

I can only speak about the golf course, but I must say for the price it was well worth it!! I've played many courses around the area and wanted to finally get to this one. I'd always heard it was a beautiful course and it definitely lived up to the expectations. It's not overly challenging, but it can be if you have never played it before. It's got a lot of hills so you can't always tell where you need to hit, which makes it a bit frustrating. I'll be going back and I'm sure it'll be a lot more fun now that I know the layout of the course. Regardless of not knowing where to hit we still had a great time and loved the views from the course. The 10th hole is absolutely beautiful and the 17th might possibly be one of the most frustrating holes I've ever played, but like I said before, it'll be better next time. Overall I'd recommend the drive to play this course!

We stayed here for a weekend vacation. The hotel rooms were a little dated but, they were in the process of remodeling. The rooms were clean and had a view of the lodge and golf course from the balcony. The pool was nice. The arcade needs updating. The lake however is the best part of this location. You can rent kayaks, canoes, or paddle boats st the boat house. And they have golf too.

My recent visit to this restaurant was unacceptable on multiple levels. From the start, the experience was frustrating. I had to send back my salad three times before they finally brought what was actually described on their own menu—and even then, it wasn’t completely correct. I ordered a burger rare and received it well done, completely missing the mark. To make matters worse, we waited nearly an hour for our food. The kitchen clearly struggles with accuracy and timing, which made what should’ve been a pleasant meal out feel like a long, frustrating ordeal. While our server remained professional and did her best under the circumstances, the management was another story entirely. When I asked to speak with the manager, he barely spoke, walked away quickly, and never followed up. His dismissive attitude was both unprofessional and cowardly, showing zero regard for guest experience or accountability. Yes, they removed the charge for the salad, but that’s beside the point. I dine out for good service, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere—not a discount on a poorly executed meal. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.
