Grand Vue

We booked a Tree House Villa for the past weekend (12-14 December 2025). Family came in from Dayton so we could all go view the lights at Oglebay and just enjoy family company. Sadly, we decided on Saturday morning that the incoming weather required my family to drive back to Dayton before the snow flew and we went home to our ridge locally. When we checked out I explained that we didn't expect a refund, no one can control the weather and that we would absolutely return for a stay. Everyone left happy, and we loved even just our one night. The Tree House Villas are adorable! Fast forward to Monday, and a guest credit email shows up! The wonderful staff decided that since the incoming guests had the option of rescheduling that I should as well. What a beautiful holiday surprise! I can't wait to rebook!

The Fall Festival is always good fun for the whole family! From us Grandparents down to our almost 2 grandson, we all loved the activities and they were free!

We didnt stay in the lodge here, but hiked, played and mountain bikes at this beautiful park. I highly recommend it to anyone. There is a nice playground if you have littles, a scenic overlook, a high ropes course and of course hiking and mountain biking. Everything is well marked and easy to find. Great park!

Stayed at Site 38 at Grand Vue RV Park. Beautiful area, lots to do, friendly staff. We were greeted by Craig, the General Manager, who gave us information about the local area. Super nice guy who will help you and answer any questions you may have. We toured the WV Penitentiary, played mini golf, and rode our ebikes on the Heritage Trail in Wheeling. Beautiful weather we had early September. P.S. Check out the two upside down trees Craig and his wife planted at the scenic overlook!

We had the best time here! We celebrated Christmas in July and it was truly a weekend to remember. Our extended family shared the Fox Cabin, it was large and clean and stocked with everything we could need. It was located near all the fun stuff and had a spectacular view. The pool was amazing! Waterslides, tons of room, clean, beautiful! We had the chance to zip line and did the Wild tour. It was fantastic, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Our guides were so much fun and added another level of fun to the experience. The entire staff here is amazing. The grounds are stunning, you won't need to leave!
