Icicle Village Resort

ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay here!!!! My kids also loved it too. We will definitely make this a yearly trip. Location is perfect and the amenities are TOP NOTCH. From the free game room, breakfast every morning, hot tub and pool, playground for the kiddos and events for the adults just PERFECT!

An old hotel with a good location. About a 17-minute walk to the city center. The rooms are outdated, and the beds are small. In our room with a king-size bed, my husband’s legs were hanging off the bed. My friend had a low queen-size bed. The woman at the front desk was very unfriendly and rude. Breakfast was good, but very crowded. The hotel has a heated pool and a jacuzzi.

Here just before xmas. Seems to be plenty of parking, rooms are nice, but a bit small or tight. Beds were comfy. Some of my family stayed in the condos they have.....wow....that's the way to go if you need 3 beds for people. Plenty of room for people to stop by for a late night of games, kitchen, master has its own bath, living room, dinning table, etc etc. Understand they have some games in there as well. Breakfast was typical for selection, but I would say a bit better than typical for breakfast buffets. My only nit pick, check in could take awhile. But I would definitely stay here again.

We have made Icicle our home now for the last 10+ years, since before we had kids. We love everything about this place. Their breakfast is phenomenal, the rooms have always been clean, and the front desk is filled with some of the nicest people. The location is close enough to the main center but far enough away to get away from the mass amount of people. The restaurant inside is also very nice and great for family dinner or special occasions.

A great stay! easy check in-check out. Friendly staff, great breakfast. The amenities are great as well. Lots to do nearby, but yet tucked away in a quiet place. Getting to downtown shops and eats are a breeze. If you are looking for a small resort with a big county feel, this is the place.
