I have never been to the caves in this area. It was very interesting to say the least. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Would recommend a light jacket as it is a little damp and chilly, but not absolutely necessary.
Rushmore Cave was such an awesome experience! It was my first time in a cave so now I have pretty high standards. I think our guide was Leo(?) and he did a fantastic job explaining and teaching!
Rushmore Cave is such a cool experience and totally worth checking out if you’re in the Black Hills! The cave formations are amazing, and our tour guide was funny and made the whole thing even better. Just be prepared. There are a lot of stairs, and some are steep, so wear good shoes and be ready for a workout. The tour can get busy with a lot of people, but it’s still a fun and unique adventure underground.
Go check this place out! My wife and I enjoyed the hike through the cave but my boys LOVED it here. They wished for a longer tour! We were very impressed with the guide's knowledge of the cave.
Loved our tour. We went early so it was only 5 people in our tours including me. They showed the total darkness. Which is fun in all the caves we have been to. There is also an amusement park on the property. We did not have time to go to that though. Pictures do not do it justice.
