8/2025 This was a much needed night with my siblings at our ages of 60 plus years. We had been through two recent losses in our family. Our mom passed and then our great nephew. They no longer have to suffer with any pain. Although, we had a great time laughing at each other. We actually found out our bodies are not what they used to be. We hope to do this again real soon. The location is fairly new. There used to be a K & W Restaurant there before it went out of business and was torn down. My brother worked at K & W for almost 20 years.

With all the choices to go do mini golf in Myrtle Beach, skip this one. It’s very rundown. The lagoon portion of the mini golf really should probably be closed. There is just stagnant water, thick with algae in all of the water features and there is no running waterfalls. It smells really, really bad like muck and duck feces.

The Jungle lagoon miniature golf course was a gem! Well maintained, fun, and had little surprises throughout the course. The manager said they’d been there for 46 years. If you are looking for a wholesome vintage putt putt golf course, look no further!

Played 18 holes on the lagoon course and it was very fun and satisfying. I paid just $10 with the senior discount which is a good deal. The course was decorated with with a jungle/lagoon theme and the holes were varied enough to keep you interested. Overall very nice. I got there just after a cloud burst so there course could have used some additional clearing, but that was a very small problem. I liked it. Important...watch your head in the caves.

General impression: It seems more fun when you see it from the road. Rating on 1-5 Scale Course Condition: 2 – Astroturf was in fairly good condition, but wood borders were dry rotting and bricks missing so your ball could roll off the course. Tall grass and weeds needed to be cut. One of the holes was part of a drain and the plate in the bottom was moved and we almost lost one of our balls. Bathroom was all the way at the front with no shortcuts. The stairs were ramped and different heights and depths, it had rough edges to the steps, and it was very dark and not well lit. They had signs everywhere to “watch your step”. Also, the signature hole with the giant hill seen from the road had a sign that if you hit your ball in the route to get the hole in one, it was likely to become trapped and you’d have to go all the way back to the front to get a new ball. Difficulty: 4 – Some holes were deceptively difficult. The green had a lot of rolls that you couldn’t necessarily see. There wasn’t much variety in the layout and course design. Cost/Value: 2 - $12 per round, and don’t have coupons but they do offer a military discount, senior discount, and second round for $4. We’ve paid the same price for newer courses that were better kept. Fun: 3 – the main draw was the animals and they seemed to need a fresh coat of paint. No interactive or cinematic components.
