Ryan Family Amusements- Newport

The staff is fantastic!!! Everyone was friendly and helpful, interacting with the kids in a positive, meaningful way. The place is clean and the games work. The downside is, it is ALL ticket games. I only found 3 actual video games. Unfortunately, it's just a place for kids to waste money on jenky claw games instead of spending time being entertained.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have fun and a great time—Ryan’s is the spot. I’ve seen a lot of bad customer service in society and this Saturday for the first time in years, two employees named Mia and Kaley truly shocked me. They showed the utmost respect, speaking gently and professionally.They fixed every bump in the road that the machines gave me, giving me and my son the opportunity to bond even more. I can’t thank them enough. Their customer service exceeded the normal expectations in such a warm and welcoming way. Nowadays, that’s rare to come across.If I could give either of them a raise or a bonus, I absolutely would, because you just don’t find people like that anymore. I’m beyond grateful and will be returning with my son as soon as I can.

Honestly, it's too expensive to play or have fun. The gaming machines are very rigged. I wish the state or city would regulate the prices of this establishment, since they take advantage of it because it's supposedly a tourist attraction, but they can't profit from it. People can spend their money however they want, but I don't recommend this place. There are more attractions outside of there; you have to drive 30 minutes, and at a better price, you can play for longer, and the gaming machines aren't rigged like they are here.

(2) adults and no kids and had so much fun! Reminded us of our fun memories on the wildwood boardwalk in NJ! Only downside is claw machines were impossible to win anything!!

The new AC system is awesome! Much more enjoyable in the summer time! Good selection of Arcade games. Fun environment for kids and family. It is right on the water. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants.
