Dormy’s Mini Golf

This place was a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It had some elevation changes although they didn't add any challenge. No moving parts or cool theme unfortunately. Some water features that added a bit of fun but again no real increase in difficulty on those holes. Affordable, well maintained, mid tier course.

It’s nice to have some fun activities for kids in Erwin for the first time in forever. We were so pleased with this little golf course in the beginning we got 12 monthly passes for the year for my son so he could come as often as he wanted. However, the last few times we have gone the water has been off and the stream of running water is supposed to be a part of one of the holes. It is very disappointing that they don’t have it on or if it’s broken they haven’t fixed it in over a month since we’ve been going. The ball always gets stuck where the water should be running. I’m extremely disappointed and I certainly hope they will fix this soon.

An awesome, well thought out mini golf course. They obviously take the grounds keeping very seriously, there were no leaves or pine needles on the course at all. We had an absolute blast and the obstacles were very fun. By far our favorite mini golf course in the are!

Sunday early evening 2 hrs ~ before sunset. Very clean place, and very imaginative course. Slow, fun pace at this time of day. Had Pelican's SnoBalls (same building, different window) afterwards. Fun, fun day with lazy stream near last hole. Let your ball float the steam and rides a grate as it exits the stream right near the hole. They also have a great little playground. Bought our tickets 🎟 on Groupon - got a great deal!

Definitely a fun little course to sharpen your miniature golf skills at, but it is rather difficult, owing to the fact that all but two holes are par two! 😆 Even if you play your whole game out in the late afternoon dead sweltering heat like I did, they have a snoball place where you can get water and a cold treat! One interesting little detail to note is that they have a playground too!
