I can’t believe they charge for this course. Today on a perfectly lovely weekend day in August there were 3 holes (of the 9) out of order - one with a barrier across it and two where the ball doesn’t come out of the hole it goes into as part of the obstacles. There were multiple holes with technology which was meant to be moving in some way but all of those were out of order. In addition there were leaves and sticks on each of the greens which did interfere with the path / shot. They don’t even give you a scorecard and pencil to keep any sort of score and two of the 9 holes actually don’t have a hole/destination for your ball, which is very confusing. Finally, hole 9 which should collect your ball is in such bad disrepair with the fake grass peeling that our balls kept getting caught in the folds of the fake grass instead of going in the allotted spots. The fact that they are charging any money on top of the museum fees is outrageous. I didn’t ask for money back because it’s supporting the museum, but it’s in bad disrepair, which is too bad because it seems like it would be a nice course if actually maintained and functioning.
This is a perfect place to pass a relaxing and learning weekday or weekend day with family and especially your kids. Also, kids would have plenty of fun learning about it.
Rip off if you dont have passes. We entered think it will be $6 per person for mini golf. Turns out you have to pay an admission fee of $12, so it totaled up to $41 for me and my son. We even stepped in to see how impressive it would be. It was not. Only 9 courses for that money, and it leaves filled the entire ground. I walked back out so fast and asked for a refund. Definitely not worth it. Don't waste your money!
This artwork is not located near the mini golf course. A correction is needed. The Queens Zoo and US Tennis Center are near by.
