Dismal River Club

I was lucky enough to have a buddy whose Dad was a member at Dismal River and went back in 2023. The staff was incredible and accommodating to all of our needs. The lodging set up is awesome. We stayed in a 4 bedroom lodge each with individual rooms and bathrooms. The golf was incredible one day fee to play as much as you want was incredible for that condition of courses. I prefer the Red Course, probably because I played better on that course but the White course is great as well. The only negatives I have is could use one more restaurant on property and the pool could be better. But you are there to golf and that is what Dismal River is all about. I cannot wait to go back again to play. Truly an incredible place.

I had the privilege of playing both the Red and White golf courses at Dismal River, and I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent condition of both. The Red course, in particular, stood out with its fescue grass, which was reminiscent of a lush carpet. The beautiful, fast, and true rolling greens added to the overall experience. While both courses feature blind shots, navigating the terrain became significantly easier after the second round. The picturesque landscape, characterized by an expansive sky and serene atmosphere, is truly breathtaking. The Restaurant also deserves praise for its exceptional food and service, with special thanks to Gabriel for his attentive care throughout our visit.

Awesome golf courses! Course has had some weather damage but is coming back nicely. One of my favorite places to play! Food is delicious too with a great menu. Great staff too!

Simply amazing. Even for the hack of a golfer like me, the white course designed by Jack Nicklaus is just a feast for your eyes. A course like this gives you great appreciation for PGA level courses and the multiple elevations they contend with. Loved it.

Unbelievable experience. The Golf was phenomenal and two of the most unique courses I’ve ever played. The hospitality, food, lodging, and service is all top notch! We spent 4 nights 5 days there and didn’t want to leave. The sand hills it’s scenery was breathtaking. Joel and his team have done an amazing job at making this world class golf and hunting club. The living cabins are spacious and rustic and exceeded my expectations. But the Golf, WOW. The Doak and Nicklaus were both fantastic and I’m going to go on record and say the Nicklaus is my favorite mostly because of Jack’s Shack and the 19th. See you next summer DRC.
