Pine Valley Resort

The Sandhills have always been a special place to me. Finding Pine Valley Resort was a special treat and I so enjoyed being able to enjoy the beautiful surrounds while being able to access all the comforts of home (bed, shower, being able to cook, heating and air). 😉 They’ve done a beautiful job of providing fun things to do while still keeping the rustic beauty of the surroundings. I’m already mentally planning more trips and family reunions. Thank you so much for such a special time! We will be back. ♥️

Went with a friend of mine to do some trout fishing. We stayed in cabin #3 place was clean and the shower was nice. The 2nd we went out fishing and Candace the owner called us to tell us about a severe storm coming our way. Lucky it missed us but was nice of her to worn us. Don’t plan on the grocery store in long pine he only opens when he feels like it. The bar in town has great food and service and is fair priced. If you go make sure to try their cheese cake made by a local lady and is some of the best I’ve had. The pizza place in town is also good. Really enjoyed our time and plan on going back next year. It was a a nice and relaxing time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pine Valley Resort in Long Pine, Nebraska! Everything about the cabin was perfect—spotlessly clean, fully stocked with things like utensils and towels, and well maintained. You can really tell the owners care about the guest experience. We were just minutes away from the Long Pine Recreation Area, which made exploring the outdoors so easy and relaxing. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for us— so perfect, he proposed on the bridge along the Cowboy Trail at sunset, which made this stay even more unforgettable. ❤️ One of our favorite parts was the community area, which was so thoughtfully set up. The string lights made it feel magical at night, and there were tons of great amenities to enjoy. It was such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere—we didn’t want to leave! Our one thing we missed out on was tubing- but only due to inclement weather. The river access was also consequently not the best, but I can imagine it’s fine when thunderstorms aren’t drenching the entire county! We’re so grateful to have found this little gem in Long Pine, and so appreciative of the owners for their timely and clear communication. Highly recommend Pine Valley Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable getaway.

We had amazing stay. The cabins were very clean, well-organized & tidy. We loved the gate & code to get in & out. It made things feel very safe & controlled. The facility was very well kept & made for a great weekend home. Thank you for providing an exceptional space for us. We loved being able to cook at the cabin & to have a nice warm bed to sleep in after a long day on the Niobrara River. The grill was clean & the picknick table made for a great place to eat our dinner. Overall, it was awesome & we plan to go back.
