Bohrer Park

Great winding paths. Took the one that goes around the pond and the perimeter of the fields. The playground is great! There are 5 benches that seat 4 people each. Would definitely return in summer for the waterpark and mini golf!

Went for fireworks. It was organized,good music, safe, food trucks, nice neon stuff for kids, great time. We parked in a nearby housing development, and crossing guards were at every intersection. The firworks were fantastic.

It was really nice. My job hosted our employee appreciation picnic there and it was very nice. Open and spacious. Plenty of benches. I like it. I believe a former coworker of mine had their baby shower there during the early post COVID pandemic. It was nice. The park is refreshing and clean.

Great for families with kids, adults, and anybody who loves going to the park. “The city's oldest building sits in this city park popular for picnics, walking & mini-golf.” I’ve been to this park twice for two Taiwanese Association of America Greater Washington Chapter events. Last year and one this year, so, I can only tell you what I know from attending these events at the park. It’s a beautiful park with a large activity center, the main building, that has two large gymnasium with basketball courts, fitness center, locker rooms, vending machines bathrooms. Outside even has a fishing pond with a little crossing bridge and a walkway around the pond for people to check out the sites and take pictures. I’ve seen some people fishing… There are turtles in the pond also. I’m not sure actually how big this park is cause I’ve only been to two pavilions lol. But I did see it also has a mini golf section and skate skateboard section and waterpark, that I did look at. It also has Barbecue grills, Baseball field, Basketball court, a tennis court. Picnic tables, hiking, Skateboarding area, Slides, Swings and a lot of things for kids, and older kids to enjoy. Enjoy the photos and videos! But it’s a very nice park and has a main building with a little bit of historical information about the park and who it named after -"Mayor Ed Bohrer"

Exceptional Patk, beautiful and entertaining for the entire family. Mini golf, skate park, water park, good size playground, several lakes, recreation center for events, gazebos/covered shelter for cooking out. Plenty of green space to spread out.
