Adkins Mini Golf LLC

Lots of fun but today (Saturday 5pm) across the street were drag races at Mason Dixon Dragway and practicing at Mid Atlantic Handgun Training, Inc. - took a while to get used to the noise. We'd return.

The course isn't in the best condition. It clearly needs some maintenance in areas. In some places the greens are coming up or torn, and have clearly been that way for quite some time without repair. That said, it's not terribly expensive, and there are two courses to play, an intermediate, and an advanced. Both are fun, but the more difficult courses is much more entertaining. The staff is friendly and helpful, they came out to get a ball that was stuck in a pipe, and even took a photo for us. The location is pretty out of the way, but be advised, there is a drag racing strip across the street, and it can get pretty loud.

We’ve been searching for an outdoor mini-golf course to play since relocating near Harper’s Ferry. Our son has been taking up golf and wanted to have a mini-golf birthday party with his friends. We’re thrilled we found Adkins Mini Golf and it was an absolute blast! Tonya and her staff were incredible and were super helpful. The communication leading up to the event was excellent, and the party room great. Plus, Tonya was onsite prior to make sure we were set for party. The course was well maintained and the kids enjoyed it. We can’t wait to return again, this time with just our kids! 🤣

We moved to Frederick from Upstate NY in 2016. Back in NY there were a lot of mini-golf courses and my wife and I, with friends and family really enjoyed playing so we were disappointed not to find any courses convenient to our new home. Flash forward to 2025 and on a whim I did another Google search and was thrilled to find Adkins Mini Golf only 25 minutes from home. We took our 14 year old grandson there today and had a great time. The only drawback was the 90+ degree heat but even with that, there were some shady spots on the 24 hole course. The facility is attractively laid out and very well maintained. On 2 occasions, we saw staff with leaf blowers clearing debris from the holes! When we went into the main building at the end of the game, hot and thirsty, we had the pleasant surprise of finding sodas and bottled water at a dollar apice. A nice, non-greedy policy. We will be back for sure!

This is a well maintained and beautiful mini golf course! The grounds are beautifully decorated with a pond & gazebo, stone walkways, old fashioned lantern style light posts, and a huge variety of plants/trees/bushes. You can play the 19 hole or 24 hole option, which was competitive, but neither too hard or too easy. The office has a restroom, a few machine games, ice cream bars, a drink cooler, and snacks. They even offer free bug spray if needed, which is kind. If you come in the evening, please get the glow balls - they are so neat. This was a fun course and we’d definitely come back!
