Raptor Falls Mini Golf & Adventure Park

The ONE thing that my husband wanted to do when we returned to Maine was to visit Raptor Falls, a miniature golf site with a dinosaur theme. We went there this morning, and it was WONDERFUL! He'd had high expectations, but it was even better than we'd hoped. The individual holes vary widely in difficulty, but all of them are suitable for children as well as adults. Some are very cleverly designed, too. The dinosaurs are delightful. Some move and make dinosaur noises, and... Well, the effect is fun and entertaining. If you're anywhere near Raptor Falls - north of Kennebunk and south of Biddeford, on Route 1 - I highly recommend stopping at this wonderful site. The prices are fair, they have a window where you can order food (and a nice seating area, under umbrellas), and... Well, it's great for adults and for families.

Although I still prefer the old fashioned, windmill and loop-de-loop courses, this is adventure golf at its best, with plenty of “mystery holes”, hills, and obstacles. The robotic dinosaurs abound, and roar to your heart’s delight. And no course should ever be without the wonderful ice cream cone at the end. Enjoy!

This place doesn’t look much from the road, but don’t let that put you off as the mini golf is well maintained, pretty challenging, and overall good fun for everyone. The dinosaurs are pretty cool, and some roar and move. The ice cream menu is refreshingly small but good. They also have a climbing tower and a find the fossil type thing for kids.

We had a great time! The anamatronics are great! The holes are fun and there is a great mix of challenging levels! 9pm seems early to close in the summer. We were unable to get an ice cream when we finished playing. I would like to see better and more sturdy benches to sit on at each hole for the grandparents and/or any mildly handicapped who can manage all the stairs etc.

We love Raptor Falls! It has challenging holes. Super fun dinosaur animatrons with sound effects. The course has some covered shade areas and benches to sit on throughout the course. They have done such an amazing job getting this course installed. One improvement were would suggest is to ensure that the concrete that abuts where you place your golf ball is level with the tee box. On some holes you clip your club on the concrete.
