First, the plus side. The course has a nice layout and theme. I liked it for what it was. The staff were nice. The music wasn't too loud. Now for the down side. The course is basically unplayable. We started by using real golf balls. But the entire green is painted concrete surfaces and real golf balls just roll and bounce around like pinballs. Just about every hole is uphill so if you don't hit it just right it's going to roll back to where you started. We ended up switching to little fuzzy golf balls like tennis balls, hoping it would create some friction to stop rolling. It was fruitless. The balls just roll endlessly downhill. Once you manage to get close enough to the holes there is a small little lip around most of them which diverts your balls at the very last second. There are no good putts, only amazing luck. We shredded our cards and stopped keeping score. I was happy to finally visit this place once they changed their name from the embarrassingly tacky Putt Hole. However, at over $10 per person on an impossible course, it's the last time we're going.

They ruined the course and made it completely unplayable. They tore up all the turf and now its just green concrete. To compensate for the lack of friction from playing golf on concrete, they replaced all the real golf balls with fuzzy cotton balls. The end result is a surface with no friction, balls that don't bounce off walls, and a terrible playing experience.

Place has great potential. However, it has been poorly maintained, and it shows at every hole. We were ready to stop playing a hole three but continued on through the course, trying to make the best of it. Unfortunately, it didn't get any better. From older reviews, it looks like two years ago, this place was in dispare (per the owners). Hard to believe they’ve made any changes.

Reviewing the Hoosier Pie Hole (I didn't putt putt, but it looks fun)! Food was great, place was clean, and folks were friendly. Took a minute to figure out it's self serve with drinks and ordering, but overall a great experience. Prices were good and service was fast. Great to get out of the house and check out something local!

We played a round of golf. $8.00 for kids and seniors and $10.00 for adults. It is a very difficult course. I feel the price is too high for the condition of the course. They have done alot of work and what they have done is nice, but alot of the green is in poor condition. The restaurant wasnt open yet. Ellettsville will have no lack of pizza.
