Douglass Park is one of Chicago’s underrated green spaces. The park is spacious, well maintained, and offers a great mix of open fields, walking paths, and shaded areas. I enjoy coming here for long walks and casual workouts because it never feels overcrowded. The trees provide plenty of shade during warmer months, and the open layout makes it easy to relax or play sports. It is also a great place for families, with playgrounds and room for kids to run around. Overall, Douglass Park is a peaceful escape within the city.

Riot Fest is THE place to go see live rock music in the USA! Saw some great bands on Sunday - notably FOOTBALLHEAD, Bad Religion, and Green Day! Great amenities at this sprawling outdoor event in Chicago park!

Great open green space in Chicago that would be better as just a park. Not big enough for oversold festivals. Trying to leave this place after Riot Fest was insane and there was so much trash everywhere. I felt so bad for the neighbors. Only good part of this fest location is that the hospital right across the street probably saves a lot of lives.

This park is one of the most beautiful places in the area. It's well-maintained and has so many different features. I love going for long walks around the park's trails, which wind through forests, along streams, and around a large pond. The wildlife here is amazing, and it's a great spot for birdwatching. There are also plenty of benches and picnic areas, so it’s perfect for a quiet lunch or an afternoon relaxing in nature. The park is very family-friendly and even has a special play area for toddlers, which is always nice to see. It’s peaceful and clean, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing day out.

Good if you want to walk a couple miles, but it's pretty dirty and not much to see. I was excited to see a black crowned night heron though!
