Fenwick Boardwalk

We just had my son go on the go-karts which was okay but a very small track. We then went to the arcade in the hopes that there would be at least some classic arcade machines but there were none, it was a relatively small room with all claw scam machines and the usual stuff that somehow passes for an "arcade" by today's commonly misused definition.

Nice little quiet boardwalk. Very family friendly. Your basic with all the shops for whatever anyone wants.

Viking golf was well themed and entertaining. The holes were interesting as well. Go carts were okay.

Compared to many area shore destinations, Fenwick Island is relatively quaint and undeveloped. The tired coastal town still draws crowds from as far away as Pennsylvania and New Jersey, but it’s decidedly less chaotic than most of its counterparts. The Fenwick Island Boardwalk is popular with the throwback crowd, who prefer homemade donuts, funnel cakes, and boardwalk fries to national chain restaurants and high-rises. The boardwalk includes souvenir shops, burger stands, and pizza parlors, many of which have been in business for decades. It’s a great place to catch a sunset or to get in a brisk walk in the morning before the sun gets too hot.

First, let’s get this out of the way. This is not a boardwalk in the sense of a seaside boardwalk like the ones in Ocean City or Rehoboth. This is simply a small commercial center with one or two store and a few fast food joints. The attached mini golf makes it worth a visit and the deck at the back is a nice place to sit and relax. However, restaurants are below par and food selection is poor.
