Awesome Dino themed mini-Golf. Minor Obstacles on a clean course. They had some radio friendly pop music playing over the speakers. Some of the Dinos make noise and move as well.
Good mini golf course. Not enough adult sized clubs when we were there at 8:30pm. Interesting course theme. Many speaker throughout the course but the music was unfortunately too loud and only country music.
I think the super critical 2 star review was a bit over the top. Yes, it's not the most complex course I've ever seen, but you can tell good effort has been put in to make it a nice little course that is good for the whole family. Yes, your kids could get hurt running here, but that's literally anywhere. The course can't help if your kids are crazy! ๐ I like that multiple holes have water features, and while there are a few relatively straight shots, there's a lot of fair challenges, too. With the restaurant and ice cream right there, this has helped make this spot more attractive than it has been in a long time. I love the blue greens, too...you don't really see that anywhere and I enjoy that unique feature. Also, I appreciate that the person manning the front booth said that they don't want people taking the ice cream on the course. It shows an effort to try and keep the condition as nice as possible. Tonight's attendant asked respectfully and made us feel welcome. Looking forward to seeing it develop further. :)
We had the best time! The new dinosaur themed mini golf is awesome! Very well thought out design. When (no if for me! Lol) your ball lands in the water, there is a net to fish it out, so you don't have to take a 5 and get a new one, or try to get it out with your club, and have a wet club. The music is a little loud, but honestly I thought it was fine, sorta keeps you from hearing too much of what others are are saying and you can just focus on your own. Would be great if they put in a few benches along the way in case you end up waiting a bit or have someone that can't stand for long periods of time. Otherwise it's awesome, and we had lots of fun, will definitely be going back.
we went to play mini golf last night. Clearly the place was built on a shoestring budget. Other than the few large dinosaur figures, the place is pretty sad. Most holes are extremely basic with very few obstacles you may be used to. The attempt at landscaping around each hole mostly consists dead plantings and large river rocks. The problem is that the rocks are easy for kids to walk on as a shortcut to get to their next shot and I expect many injuries due to running on poor footing. We were fortunate enough to arrive before the large crowds, as there was a line of more than 20 people wait for the first hole when we left. Also, there seems to be no limit to the amount of players allowed on each hole, since there were 8 in the group at the first hole. That's a lot of waiting. There were no benches to sit on while waiting, no stands to place the scorecard on while writing, and the music was on the loud side. On a good note, the ice cream is fantastic. Apparently, they make their own and all 3 flavors we tried were creamy and delicious. Hopefully, they add some better attractions at the holes in the future.
