My children liked the water park & we had a lot of fun. The water park is ran down it needs some things repaired & replaced. It’s also dirty. There was trash & hair ties all over & the slides are also dirty. They need to do some major upkeep & deep cleaning. I will say that the hotel itself is nice & clean. Rooms were nice, but I’ve stayed in nicer places than this for much cheaper.
On December 16, 2025, the team at Great Wolf Lodge changed the course of my life. I was staying there with my three children during an extremely difficult and dangerous situation. A conflict escalated, and a member of the cleaning staff noticed something was wrong and immediately alerted security. Because of her awareness and courage and the fast, professional response from the security team the situation was handled quickly and police were called. What happened next is something I will never forget. The staff helped me pack up our entire room, assisted me in loading my car, refunded our stay so I wouldn’t have to worry about finances in that moment, and even gave my children and me pizza for the long drive ahead. They treated us with dignity, urgency, and compassion during one of the hardest nights of my life. Because of their actions, I was able to safely leave and get my children to a secure place. Today, we are safe, healing, and living in our own townhouse. That would not have been possible without the care and humanity shown by their team that night. There are not enough words to express my gratitude. The staff didn’t just provide customer service they provided safety, kindness, and hope when we needed it most.
Absolutely every child in the world and their parents deserve to stop by for a few days at Wolf Lodge. The spot is above and beyond magnificent with delicious food and tons of fun. Was there for 3 days and wish I could go every year. Safe environment. Lifetime amazing memories. Totally recommend. Food for adults at the restaurant by the elevators is delicious, try shrimp pasta.
My family booked a room for one night just to check it out since we had heard such great things and my mom and brother enjoyed their stay a few years back .. We got there early so we could enjoy some time at the water park before check in, everything was off to a great start. Then as we were enjoying our time waiting for our room I noticed MULTIPLE charges on my card from them thank goodness my card was locked so they declined . Finally our room was ready and at that point the kids were over the water park and ready to go relax and eat (we brought plenty of food since eating there is so expensive).. we get up to our room after waiting almost 20 minutes to get on the elevator and everything looked nice and clean .. until we got to the bathroom. The bathtub was disgusting , it looked like there was toe nail clippings left on the floor from the last guest which sucks because baths are apart of my kids routine .. so we cleaned it up best we could and gave them their bath but when we went to drain the tub it was clogged. It took a good 20 minutes to finally drain. Then we went to get the food we put into the fridge when we first got in the room and most of it was bad because the fridge barely worked even on the highest setting. Aside from that the rest of our evening was great we had fun, they offer so many different free things for kids ever hour or so. We had one scare though while my daughter was playing in the arcade she slipped on water I’m assuming from the pool and fell pretty hard , had there been signs up I would have made sure to take extra precautions .. We spent most of the next day after check out at the pool. While we were there my mom fell twice in the same place at the kiddy pool because of a small concrete drop/ledge (not safe!) . The first time was terrifying because my mom was holding my 4 month old and almost dropped her.. the second time she fell so hard into a chair her whole shin and knee is bruised. I decided at some point to get some drinks and the bartender Hailey was unbelievably rude , not just to me but everyone I seen her interact with . I was flabbergasted at some of the rude unwarranted remarks she made to not only me but other guest as well. It’s people like her that get places bad reviews … to wrap up the day we bowled a couple of games and the boy working was so amazing. Very nice , respectful and helpful. He even gave my daughter and I a free game after ours was messed up by a stuck ball. You guys need more employees like that..
I went Great Wolf Lodge with my 7 year old daughter and my dad. We stayed for one night and had a great time. Yes, it is absolutely a money making operation but it's a very fun place for the elementary school crowd and compared to other attractions, I think was relatively reasonable with some pre-planning. We brought lots of snacks of our own and minimized eating at the restaurants in the hotel. We also attended both the free morning craft and the play time, which were both fun and appreciated. My daughter loved the water park but I think it might not be exciting enough for teenagers. I think the whole place is best for the younger crowd and that's not a bad thing since there are a lot of amusement parks for the older kids. Where GWL really shines, in my opinion, is the extremely friendly staff. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. My daughter needed a chaperone on the ropes course and I didn't have the right shoes so a staff member jumped in to help her. He was extremely patient and kind and I am very grateful. The ropes course was one of the highlights of the trip for my daughter. I'd recommend a trip to GWL for families with young children although I do think some pre-planning in terms of food and budget will help those who don't want to feel like they are being robbed. My daughter wants to return and I'm willing to plan another trip.
