We decided to check out the Underground Mini Golf in Old Sacramento because we enjoy a good putt putt course and this place has a 4.9 star rating. In a review, my husband saw that someone mentioned they had military discount, but when we arrived, we were informed they do NOT offer military discount. Ok... $21 per person is insane in our opinion, but we already drove all the way here and paid for parking, so we decided to mentally say, screw it, let's do it. It must be a great course, because the ratings are so good. ....oh how wrong the reviews are. I'm alright at putt putt, but we both averaged about 2 hits per hole. 16 holes were completely flat and basically the same. 1 hole had the tiered ramp you can find at other places and the last hole had the ramp up to hole 18. We finished the course in 20-25 minutes... such a huge disappointment and what a waste of money. Not worth it at all. The murals were pretty cool and we did appreciate the spin wheel, but there needs to be more of a challenge to the course to charge so much.
Today my daughters and I tried out the Underground Mini Golf and it was a lot of fun even though the holes are short and fairly small it was still a lot of fun going through the course. My only gripe is the price for 2 adults and 2 children $76 (Parent, 14yr old, 9yr and 5yr) and you can go through it in maybe 30-45 mins outside Scandia or Golfland SunSplash may be better..We all had a lot of fun it was Enjoyable!!
So much fun!! Not too long but long enough to enjoy, adorable decor and has AC so it’s not hot inside.
This is a very fun and cute date night spot! There are 18 holes and some have a spinning wheel to make it more challenging. They also occasionally have deals like free mini golf on your birthday or cracker jacks if you show an A’s ticket. Props to Matthew Trammel for doing such great work on all of the murals throughout the course.
A really nice indoor mini golf course! The western theme is detailed throughout the course - it’s really cute! Good family fun and can see it as a cute date night - you can buy drinks there for the course. Came during a rainy day so it was just us most of the time.
