I feel like if I did more research about this I would have had a better time. It was sort of unclear on the website what was at the farm. However, I did find the train to be enjoyable and there were lots of areas to explore. Overall I had a fun time I just wish my expectations were more clear.

WARNING: $15 Pretzels, Sad Animals, Total Rip-off. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place has completely lost its way. It is no longer a charming family farm; it is a price-gouging tourist trap designed to empty your wallet while offering a terrible experience. I uploaded photos of the menus because nobody would believe me otherwise: $12 for a plain pretzel... and they have the nerve to charge $3 extra for dipping sauce. That is $15 for bread and cheese. $18 for a bag of popcorn. $15 for a milkshake. $14 for "ribbon fries" (literally one potato on a stick). For these prices, you’d expect a premium experience. Instead, you get massive waiting lines, boring activities, and a depressing atmosphere. The "petting zoo" was the low point, just five poor animals that looked miserable and lethargic. It wasn’t festive; it was just sad. Save your money and your sanity. This place is a scam. Go to Vertuccio Farms instead where they don't try to bankrupt you for a snack.

Schnepf is a really lovely place to visit. My kids had a good time. The lights are so pretty. However, the train ride line is insane. I purchased tickets online for the 8:30 train ride. We got in line at 8:20, as the lady at the train booth said to. We did not end up getting on the train until 9. What is the point in a ticketed time, if I’m waiting in line for 40 minutes? The long line for the train really eats up the amount of time you can spend doing other things. I would’ve said never mind and not gone on the train, but the tickets are $10 per person. I didn’t want to waste $30. If we go back to Schnepf, we probably won’t do the train again.

Schnepf Farms is truly a wonderful place for families, and our recent visit was nothing short of fantastic! There are so many great activities for kids—everything from rides and play areas to amazing light displays that keep little ones entertained for hours. It’s the perfect mix of fun, learning, and outdoor adventure. One thing that really stood out to us was how handicap accessible the entire farm is. The grounds are thoughtfully laid out, making it easy for guests of all abilities to enjoy everything the farm has to offer without feeling limited or overwhelmed. This level of consideration made our visit comfortable and stress-free. The staff at Schnepf Farms deserves special praise as well. Every person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about creating a great experience for visitors. Overall, Schnepf Farms is an amazing spot for families, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I have been taking my son here for the last 3 years and he still loves it! The illumination train is my favorite it's so fun! There are lots of different light displays with great music and it's a decently long (but not too long) ride too. The lady working at the train is awesome, she has so much energy and she even got my son and a few other kids out dancing with her while waiting in line for the next train. The food is kind of expensive, I paid $8 for a small cup of Mac n cheese and my son was still hungry after so ended up spending another $12 I think for funnel cake. At least it was good food. If you want to see Santa I suggest getting there right when they open. Last year we got there before they opened and the line was still really long but this year we got there 15 minutes after opening and the wait was already 1 hour long which is way too long for a 5 year old boy to stand in one place doing nothing and it stayed that way the rest of the night so the last 2 years we missed out on seeing Santa. I think that's the one thing they could improve on especially considering that's probably a big part of the reason people go. Feeding the reindeer is another favorite but I suggest going to do that sooner than later as they seem to get full or less interested in taking food from the kids later in the evening. Bathrooms are decent and seem to be kept up with pretty well. If you are looking for a place to have some Holiday fun Christmas at Schnepf Farms should be on your list!
